Community Strawberry Dinner 

Our Annu­al Com­mu­ni­ty Straw­ber­ry Din­ner will be held on Thurs­day, June 21 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Come and enjoy a deli­cious meal of ham, sal­ads, straw­ber­ries and more.  Tick­ets are $16 per per­son, chil­dren aged 6 to 12 are $5, and chil­dren under 5 are free.  Call the office at 905–478‑2231 for tick­ets or pur­chase them at the door.  There is an acces­si­ble entrance to the build­ing at the side door.  See the Spe­cial Events Page for addi­tion­al details.

Canada Day Community Worship Service

Sharon-Hope will be join­ing with oth­er local church­es for a spe­cial Canada Day Wor­ship ser­vice on Sun­day, July 1 at the Sharon Tem­ple. Our friends from Queensville Hol­land Land­ing and Mount Albert Unit­ed Church­es, as well as Liv­ing Pres­ence Min­istry, and St. James the Apos­tle Angli­can Church will be meet­ing togeth­er for this com­mu­ni­ty event at 10:00 a.m. Chairs will be pro­vid­ed. Sharon Tem­ple is locat­ed just north of Sharon-Hope at 18974 Leslie Street. East Gwillim­bury Canada Day events will begin fol­low­ing the ser­vice at 11:00 a.m., and include a bar­be­cue and cake, car­ni­val games, boun­cy castle, bub­ble zone, and an encamp­ment and re-enact­ment of the 1837 Upper Canada Rebel­lion in which New­mar­ket played a vital role. All are wel­come!
